A Dynamic Generative Art Application.
Philips was looking todo something different with their social media campaign. I was tasked to create an application that creates digital artwork based on the beard type of the user. This application contains a mixture of personal style as well as positive reinforcement of bright colors, shapes and motion.
The most important part of the sequence is the unique individual portrayed in it, and the character each brings to the final rendering. An analysis is done on each person's face to determine their proportions, and once complete over 6 layers of complex calculations begin to bring the composition to life.
A different dynamic color palette is chosen each time the application is ran to further distinguish a unique piece. Finally a pass of lighting and color correction is done and another touch of personalization is added, the individual's name.
